• Bar Ingredients: Data regarding the ingredients you input or scan into the App.
• Images and Audio: Images captured or uploaded, and audio recordings made through the App for ingredient identification.
• Location Data (ZIP Code): We collect your ZIP code to associate with the stored data. We do not associate your data with a username, personal identity, or full address.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Provision of Service: Images and audio data are sent to OpenAI for ingredient identification. Ingredient text data is stored and processed directly on Microsoft Azure to provide the persistent functionality of the App.
• Trend Identification: We analyze the aggregated data (associated with your ZIP code) to identify regional trends and missing ingredients.
• Third-Party Inventory Support: Anonymized and aggregated data regarding ingredients and trends may be shared with third-party organizations (such as local liquor stores or distributors) to help them inform their inventory and better serve customers in your area.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data, such as bar ingredients, is securely transmitted to and stored on Microsoft Azure cloud servers. Images and audio provided for ingredient identification are processed by OpenAI. While we do not store your data with a username, it is tied to the ZIP code provided. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:

• With Service Providers: Such as Microsoft Azure for cloud hosting and data storage, and OpenAI for processing images and audio.
• With Third-Party Organizations: We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable trend data (linked only to ZIP codes) to assist them with inventory planning.
• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your ingredient data solely for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above. You may request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us directly.

How to request data deletion: Since your data is not tied to an email address or username, please email us with your ZIP code and details about the ingredients you have added. We will permanently delete associated records from our cloud storage within 30 days of your request.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by anyone under the legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 21 (or the applicable legal drinking age in your jurisdiction).
